Since you are here, enter the Ethnographic Museum for a few minutes; you will have the chance to see a few objects dating back to the Roman Era.

Perhaps a part of the unique flavor of Casares comes from its strange past; like many other Spanish towns, the Romans and the Moors mingled throughout decades, leaving something behind. This something is seen today in all the buildings of the town that managed to survive the passing of time; among them is the castle which seems to guard the town from the top of the hill. Go visit it and you will enjoy a wonderful view and a special feeling, something that cannot be explained.

Other types of activities

Since you are in Casares, you have to spend some quality time at the beach. Playa Ancha is not very far from Casares and you will find very delicate white sand and calm blue waters here, exactly what you need to relax. After a few hours spent at the beach, have a nice meal in one of the restaurants serving tasty, traditional dishes. Enjoy your time in this fabulous place because you deserve it!
